Hello! My name is Shelley Feil, and I am a bilingual Sophomore majoring in Information Sciences and Technology with a minor in Design. I am a student at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM), searching for roles in the field of User Experience. I am very interested in developing relationships and learning more about the field such as through informational interviews, internships, and conversations. My other interests also lie in the diversity and inclusion of the Greater Milwaukee community, in which I involve myself through varied volunteer work. My past work experience has prepared me with skills in research, organization, time management, and that with people. With this, I would like to apply myself further in a variety of settings where I can learn new skills and hone old ones.

Information Technology Intern (July 2022-May 2023)

•Developed an up-to-date team server catalog including information of applications, environments, server types, and OS versions through internal research.
•Updated data presentation displayed and exported to an online work list using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
•Configured software, tested and validated 170+ mobile Windows handheld units used by field personnel for surveying company assets.



LIT Research Intern (August-December 2021)

•Researched UW-School System demographics, quality of student resources, and state/national legislature pertaining to universities.
•Developed and conducted research projects on topics such as reparations, the “Free Public Education Movement”, and capital planning and budgeting.
•Assisted in informing the community on important social issues revolving university students and reparations introduced in legislature.
